My Client v. General Motors, LLC, and Moran Chevrolet
The vehicle suffered from battery defects, resulting in substantial impairment of use and value, as well as an unreasonably dangerous condition that could lead to a fire. Because of the battery defect Client had a limited driving range requiring excessive charging, contrary to what she bargained for when she purchased the vehicle. Client was advised by General Motors the parts to repair the vehicle were not available. The defect was subject to a recall that affected a large percentage of Chevy Bolts
Client hired Mr. Alexander and a lawsuit was filed on January 18, 2022. Mr. Alexander was able to get the vehicle repurchased for the Client.
