Michigan's Lemon Law provides relief if you purchase or lease a defective vehicle. The Lemon Law also provides for the manufacturer to pay for your attorney fees and court costs.
A Lemon Law case begins with attorney review and analysis of all relevant documents relating to the sale/lease and repair of your vehicle, as well as research of common defects for your year/make/model. It is important to provide all documentation provided to you during the sales transaction and thereafter. The four most important documents are:
- Purchase/Lease agreement
- Finance agreement, if vehicle is purchased
- Repair invoices
- Registration and/or Title
Once I speak with you and review the these documents, I can provide you with your legal options, the range of possible outcomes, and the time it will take to be resolved.
