Client contacted me in September of 2021 with a 2021 Chevy Silverado, complaining of engine defects. Specifically the lifters kept needing to be replaced. My client provided me with documentation supporting his claim on September 28, 2021 and the very next day retained my services to assert Michigan Lemon Law/Breach of Warranty claims against General Motors and Todd Wenzel Chevrolet.

I sent demand letters to GM and the dealership and on October 11, 2021, and shortly thereafter received a confirmation letter from the GM "Business Resource Center". Negotiations with BRC did not resolve the matter.

On November 2, 2021 we filed a Lemon lawsuit in Wayne County Circuit Court. (Case No. 21-015128-CZ). GM subsequently began to engage and through continued negotiations, finally made a reasonable settlement offer.

The case was settled on November 30, 2021 with a substantial cash payment to my client.
